The social justice pathway will be holding a meeting every day next week. Students who are interested in the pathway and want to learn more should come to room 218 during lunch any day. A new program, College Now!, allows qualifying juniors and seniors to start college early and graduate from high school with a year or more of transferable credits. Foothill middle college is now recruiting students from Paly for next school year. Middle College is an alternative program that serves bright students who may not be performing up to their full potential, or students who are dissatisfied with the traditional high school environment. The United States Youth Volleyball League is looking for Volleyball instructors. USYVL is nonprofit organization that runs youth volleyball programs for kids ages 7-15. The organization's team coaches are parent volunteers, and the paid volleyball instructors guide the parents in their coaching. The time commitment is 2-4 hours a week. To apply, an incoming instructor must have played at the high school, collegiate, or competitive recreation level and be over the age of 18. The festival includes a Friday Night Fire Jam and Juggling Battle, the Saturday Night Gala Show, workshops all three days, and games on Sunday. Everyone, whether hobbyist, pro, or artist, is welcome.
