BULLETIN 9-29-21

There are three scholarships with upcoming deadlines. The Golden Doors Scholars Scholarship has a deadline of Next Thursday, October 4th, and The Levine Scholarship--University of North Carolina Charlotte has a deadline of October 8th, and The AES Engineering Scholarship also has an October 8th deadline. For a full list of all scholarships and more details, login to Naviance; click on the "Colleges" hyperlink in the top navigation, then click select the "Scholarship List" from the "Scholarships and Money" section.


Students who have obtained a parking permit to park on Paly's campus must only park in student designated spaces. Please pay attention to which spot you are parking in. The Palo Alto Police Department will ticket students not parked in the correct stalls.


For students who are in AP classes, Total Registration is now open! Sign up today. For more information, check out the AP flyer on paly.net.


Parents Nursery School of Palo Alto is seeking student volunteers to run the games as well as arts and crafts tables at their all-outside children's fall carnival, on Sunday, October 17. Two or four-hour volunteer shifts are available, and a community Service sign-off will be given. Covid safety precautions are in place. Spirit Week Dance Practices for all grades continue this week in preparation for the week of October 11th. Please refer to your grade's remind and Instagram page for details like dates, times, and locations.


VIKINGS! Reminder that this Friday, October 1st, is Staff Development day, which means there are no classes for students. This also means that PRIME this week has moved to tomorrow at 2:40.


There are 5 college visits throughout tomorrow, Thursday September 30th. St Olaf College, Colorado College, Gonzaga University, Brown University, and Southwestern University are all hosting virtual visits at the PALY CCC. If you are interested in attending any of these virtual visits, you must register in Naviance at least 24-hours in advance. Remember to bring your laptop! The Discovering U: Joint Virtual Information Session is tomorrow at 5 PM, which features Columbia University, the University of Chicago, the University of Texas at Austin, the University of Michigan, and Yale University.
